CRJS 100-01 Intro to Criminal Justice : This course is about an introduction to the American System of Criminal Justice.

This course will be online and a Big Blue Button meeting will be conducted every Monday & Wednesday beginning at 10:50 AM

Welcome to our class! During the next 16 or so weeks we will take a journey through the world of the criminal justice system.

I began my career in law enforcement 35 years ago and recently retired as a Detective Sergeant First Class from the Wayne Police Department. He has been the Officer in Charge of several units to include; Criminal Investigation Unit, Arson, Gangs, Burglary, Robbery, and an Auto Theft Unit. In addition to Commanding the Traffic Crash Investigation Unit and Communications.

I continue to pass on law enforcement knowledge in tactics, communication, investigations, and related functions to my students.

I have a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Human Resouce Management from Seton Hall University, I hold two Bachelor's Degrees one in Criminal Justice from Jersey City University, and one in Education from William Paterson University. Presently I am working on my Post Graduate Degree at Seton Hall University. I have conducted research in Emotional Intelligence and Leadership in Law Enforcement for my final Master's Research.

I am an Adjunct Faculty member at Jersey City University, Fairleigh Dickenson University. I am a certified Police Instructor in the State of New Jersey
